Architectural project for a multisports hall in Curitiba, Brazil. It was developed as Bachelor’s Thesis in the Architecture and Urban Planning Program at the Federal University of Parana (UFPR). Revit was utilized for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Twinmotion was used for 3D Rendering.
This project envisions a flexible, accessible and sustainable facility for professional and amateur practice of basketball, futsal, handball and volleyball, with a seating capacity of 1,300 spectators. Designed for a site within a Federal University of Parana campus, the building integrates into its surroundings through terrain manipulation strategies.
The structural system primarily utilizes concrete and steel, ensuring durability and cost-effectiveness. A shed-style roof maximizes natural lighting, while solar panels optimize energy efficiency. The facade design adapts to solar orientation, balancing daylight and shading.
